Lesley Eden – Working coordinator

I have worked and owned dogs for the last 60years, starting as a kennel girl and part of inter club teams as a teenager, as well as a display and demo team for Southsea Show. I  have owned many breeds but Golden Retrievers since 1982 and CCRs since 2008. Currently we have 4, all girls. I have run training days for the CCR Club in the West Midlands in our Aboretum with lake and at Sunnymeade Kennels (thanks to Sue Carlin). The format as puppy and novice was ‘Building Confidence’. Building up retrieves using static and active exercises and keeping it fun whilst encouraging the dog to make the right choices. I am a Non Panel RKC judge and have passed my RKC ‘J’ Regs exam. I have picked up on shoots and passed my WGDC and been awarded various WT awards, individual, breed and team tests. I compete at Field Trials.  I look forward to working with the committee and the association and furthering the working Gundog enthusiasm for our wonderful breed.
